Celsius and Fahrenheit Temperature

Fahrenheit to Celsius

To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius , substract 32 and divide the result by 1.8.

C = ( F- 32)/ 1.8
Where C is Celsius and F Fahrenheit

Celsius to Fahrenheit

To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit , multiply by 1.8 and add 32.

F = ( 1.8 *C ) + 32
Where C is Celsius and F Fahrenheit

Kelvin to Fahrenheit and Celsius Conversion

Kelvin to Celsius

K – 273.15

Kelvin to Fahrenheit

F=(K – 273.15) * 1.8 + 32
Where K is Kelvin

Formula for Calculation Medication Dosage.

 

X=(D/A)*Q
Where D, ( desired ) is the dosage that the physician prescribed.
Where A, (available ) is the dosage strength as stated on the medication label.
Where Q ,( quantity ) is the volume or form in which the dosage strength is available ,such as tablets,capsules or milliliters.

Formulas For Intravenous Calculation .

Flow Rates

Drops per minute=(Total volume* Drop factor)/Time in minutes

Infusion Time

Infusion Time =(Total volume to infuse) / (Milliliters per hour being infused)

Number of milliliters per hour=(Total volume in milliliters)/Number of hours
